Z Warrior Posts: 176 Group: Member Member #901 Joined: November 25, 2005	It was a very good movie and brilliantly set out, although I was a bit disappointed with how much they skipped. For example, they didn't mention what actually causes the Priori Incatatem or whatever it's called. Then some things just aren't right. Dobby was supposed to give Harry the Gillyweed, not Neville (although it was Nevile who suggested it to Dobby or something) and the Rock Concert just wasn't right. I mean, wtf? So much of it was just filler, seriously. They completely missed the Sphinx and the krewts (if those vines coming out of the ground in the big maze were Skrewts, you've got to be kidding me because Skrewts are supposed to be really big). Also, Serious Black was supposed to get more screen time because he appeared in flesh and blood in the book. And where were Hagrid's Care For Magical Creatures classes? Besides that, though, it was a good movie and I enjoyed it. I still think The Prisoner of Azkaban was better.

Chrome	Well, you cant really expect them to put everything from the book in the movie. When I saw the third movie I was really pissed because they mixed things up (the firebolt at the end of the movie!?!? Totally skipping their fued because of it) But little things like Neville giving the gilly weed and not Dobby dont really bother me. I've yet to see the movie though. But I sorta want to. After seeing the 3rd I swore I was never going to see another again, but now people are saying this one is a lot more true to the book and not as kiddish.

And the fact that they left out SPEW and the house elves

Chrome	Ah, just got back.....my opinion: Some books just arnt suppose to be made into movies o0 It was ok, I admit, much better than the last one, but I just...didnt really get into it. Things went really fast (and they really should've showed more of the Quidditch Cup >>) and the acting...um...was sorta sucky o0;; It all seemed sorta fake. I mean, I know its fake...but take LotR for example. I actually believed I was there and stuff, with HP4 I was just "yawn when will this end???" you know? O_o Seeing Voldemort rise was pretty cool though
